Tax Proposals Hide Behind Euphemisms
RIGHT:
No matter which party proposes them, tax increases are always called some euphemism like "surcharge", "fee", or "revenue enhancement".
LEFT:
If I were introducing a new tax I would call it a "big-breasted, chocolate chip free puppy parade".
RIGHT:
I'd vote for that.
LEFT:
I know. That's the sad part.
